    The Workforce Development Department at ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State Community College recently purchased an aptitude assessment program called YouScience that uses brain games to determine a student's aptitude for specific careers.

    Are you looking for a quick pathway to a career? Look no further than ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State Community College's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program. In as little as three months, you can get EMT basic training certification that can give you a leg up on the competition in any field. "I saw ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State was offering a summer course in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), so I decided to take a leap of faith and register for it. This was probably the best decision I have ever made," said Gabrielle Hernandez, graduate of ʯÁñÊÓÆµ's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program.

    Alexandra Perez is a ʯÁñÊÓÆµ 2017 graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice. A hard worker with a drive to succeed, Alex attributes a great deal of her academic success to the support and encouragement she received at ʯÁñÊÓÆµ from program leaders, faculty, and her Tennessee Promise Mentor Debra Smith, ʯÁñÊÓÆµ Dean of Students. Now, Alex is paying it forward and becoming a mentor herself.

    Attention designers, artists, actors, and digital illustrators and animators, beginning in the Spring of 2022, ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State Community College will be offering three new Associate of Fine Arts degrees at the Moore County campus.

    Beginning this Fall, ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State Community College will offer a concentration in Digital Agronomy as part of its current Associate of Applied Science Degree in Entrepreneurship. "This new degree pathway is part of ʯÁñÊÓÆµ's commitment to developing a new pipeline of agricultural professionals equipped to support the technology needs of today's farmers," said Dr. Melody Edmonds, Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs at ʯÁñÊÓÆµ.
