    Some high school graduates may be considering sitting out this year and waiting on Fall 2023 to begin their higher education enrollment. However, taking a gap year could cost students $90,000 in the course of their lifetime.

    Shayna-Raye Funderburk, a graduate of ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State, is one of 15 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) members selected as a 2022 Guistwhite Scholar and will receive a $5,000 scholarship for baccalaureate studies.

    ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State swept the community college competition at the annual State Leadership and Skills Conference in Chattanooga on April 10-13.

    ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State hosted its 49th Annual Nursing Pinning Ceremony on May 6 in the Nisbett Center at the College's Moore County campus. Pins were presented to 55 students who have successfully completed the Nursing Program's graduation requirements.

    ʯÁñÊÓÆµ State hosted a Student Recognition Awards Day on April 27 at the College's Moore County Campus.
