International Study Requirements

  • You will need a valid passport to travel overseas. See here for . You can also get help through ʯÁñÊÓÆµâ€™s International Education office
  • If you do not have a passport, you must apply for one as soon as you are accepted to the program
  • Complete the
  • Pay a $100 application fee (non-refundable). Payments can be made at the Business Office on the Moore County campus, the One Stop on the Smyrna campus, or at the front office on other campuses
  • Submit a scanned copy or phone photo copy of your application fee receipt to [email protected]

Funding Your Study Abroad

Scholarships

ʯÁñÊÓÆµ offers generous study abroad scholarships to qualified applicants, and bonus scholarships to students who take a course taught by a ʯÁñÊÓÆµ professor.

The International Education scholarship covers a percentage of your program costs, including:

  • tuition
  • housing
  • airfare
  • in-country ground transportation
  • excursions
  • two meals per day.

Program costs do not include:

  • application fee
  • textbooks
  • passport costs
  • ground transportation to and from the Nashville airport
  • personal spending money.

Scholarship Requirements

  • Complete 12 credit hours at ʯÁñÊÓÆµ by the start of the program
  • Be in good academic standing. Your minimum GPA is 2.0. (First Semester Freshmen: if your GPA is not a 2.0 after Fall semester, your award will be lost.)
  • Be a degree seeking student
  • Have no disciplinary record at ʯÁñÊÓÆµ
  • Students seeking a ʯÁñÊÓÆµ scholarship should contact [email protected] immediately after submitting their TnCIS application

Talk to the Financial Aid Office

Contact the Financial Aid Office about funding your study abroad. It is critical that you stay in close communication with your financial aid counselor. Please do this throughout the entire study abroad process.
